Applied geology and hydrogeology
Studio Geotecnico Italiano carries out geological and geological-technical surveys by drawing up theme maps (geological, geomorphological, structural, hydrogeological, vulnerability and land use maps), studies into applied geomorphology and geo-mechanical surveys focusing on issues related to proneness to landslides and excavating ground and rocks, the drawing up of geological-technological characterisations for seismic purposes, geological studies supporting territorial planning, hydro-geological research and studies for capturing water, projects to create wells for exploiting water, assessment of the potential of aquifers, help with works management and supervision in the digging of foundations, moving soil, construction of road and railway embankments and hydraulic works, planning of geognostic surveys, drawing up of technical specifications and the organising/management of on-site survey campaigns, drawing up, interpreting and graphic rendering of the results of on-site surveys.
